The Asutsuare Women's Development Association is a women's farming
cooperative, which was established in 2006. Based in Asutsuare
Village, the cooperative consists predominantly
of single women who farm and sell rice as their
primary means for income-generation. As of early 2008, there
were 25 women in the group.
The Asutsuare Women's Development Association is registered with Ghana's Ministry
of Social Welfare and partners with its sister development group
in Obodan Village.
