At Atorkor, there are many areas in which volunteers would be extremely helpful. ADF is very eager to work with volunteers to create a skills-based volunteer experience. Some opportunities are listed below:

• Teach and work in an IT center


• Provide primary health care or public health awareness at the Atorkor Community Health Centre


• Teach basic science and introduce basic science tools at the school


• Provide vocational training (carpentry, baking, sewing, weaving, welding, use of solar energy, etc.)


• Conduct training classes for technical repair and maintenance


• Teach literacy and adult education programs


• Introduce organic agricultural techniques


• Help develop a new micro-finance program
