About Have Health Centre
The Have Health Centre is a government medical facility registered
with the Ministry of Health. It is located about a quarter of
a mile from EDYM's volunteer accommodations.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer orientation is provided by a Have Health Centre staff member and includes a brief overview of the clinic, its history, the types of ailments treated at the clinic, and the boundaries of the citizens it serves.
The health centre welcomes up to 2 volunteers at one time. A volunteer’s assignments are based upon his/her skills and experience and can range from doing ‘intake’ processing of patients and light paperwork to assisting with note taking, blood pressure monitoring, and administering vaccines. Activities can change daily depending upon the pace of the clinic and who is available to work with the volunteers.
