Vision of CORD

Coorg Organization for Rural Development (CORD) envisions a society founded on justice and peace devoid of all forms of disparities where all people enjoy equal rights and opportunities availing to their favour, their rightful share in the abundantly available resources and thus emerge economically independent and socially dignified.

Mission of CORD

CORD, in order to realise the above vision embarks on a mission that seeks to enable everybody irrespective of caste, creed, colour or gender get opened to realities of life so as to discover their own inherent abilities and explore the avenues and opportunities to optimise their potential. CORD also endeavours to enable them apply their critical consciousness and strive to take charge of their own development and thus become masters of their own destiny. In this effort CORD banks on their existing abilities and attempt to build necessary skills and capabilities and thus empower them to become viable in all dimensions.
