Founded in 1999, Kimouri School is a low-cost private academy that provides quality education and living quarters to 160 girls and 178 boys aged 4-15, including many orphaned Maasai children. The school has a dedicated staff of 13 teachers, one Principal and one Director, as well as four support staff.

School Motto: "Arise and Shine" - their intention being to set off exemplary performance in both academic and co-curricular activities.
Vision: To develop a school that will be able to respond adequately and easily to changing demands of the community in social and technological fields.
Physical Facilities: The school has got four semi-permanent classrooms and four permanent ones. It has semi-permanent dormitories for boys and girls separately. Has an administrative office and staff room.
Future Plans: The construction of a library, more classrooms, and permanent dormitories are among the most immediate goals of the school.
Volunteer: Volunteering at Kimori Academy would be a wonderful experience. Volunteers would be housed at the accommodations provided to the teachers on the grounds of the Academy.
