Volunteer Accommodations

Housing

Volunteers are hosted in either one of the two double-occupancy volunteer huts, or in a double-occupancy guest room in the Director's home. The volunteer huts are located on the same grounds as the Director's home. There are pit latrines available for volunteers, and volunteers bucket bathe in an outdoor washing room.

Meals

Meals are prepared and taken in the Director's home.

Drinking Water

Volunteers are provided with boiled water.

Electricity

There is no electricity. Volunteers are recommended to bring flashlights.

Internet Access

Volunteers can access the internet in Kilgoris which is approximately 20 to 30 minutes away.

Laundry

Volunteers will be provided with water so they can launder their own clothes.
