How to Apply
Volunteers come from all over the world and we proudly boast that our volunteers are simply the best.
If you are interested in volunteering, there is no obligation to apply nor do you need to be specific on where you want to volunteer. By submitting your application we learn more about your interests and are better able to advise you on specific placement options.
Your application can be done in stages and submitted when finished. If you encounter any difficulties in completing your application, please contact us.
The Volunteer Process
1. Complete our Volunteer Application
Our Volunteer Application is the first step towards volunteering abroad. After reviewing your application, we will work with you to create a volunteer placement specifically geared to your interests.
2. Submit your Deposit
Once you are accepted, a deposit of $100 is required as a placement holder. If you need to change your dates or placement, your program fees are completely transferable. Your deposit will be applied to your volunteer program fee.
3. Trip Preparation
Once we receive your deposit, we will provide you with access to our online orientation materials, which consist of travel, health, language and cultural guides to assist you with all considerations necessary for traveling abroad. We are available and happy to answer any of your questions via phone or email.
4. Communication & Support
Village Volunteers is committed to working with you every step of the way to ensure comprehensive preparation and support before, during and after your journey!
